There comes a point in time when we become teenagers. Yes, the really immature ones. We laugh, make fun, judge, it's almost like there's some kind of hierarchy dominance in whose better than so and so. Can't believe we thought we knew it all. Those days when you'd argue with your parents about what you thought you knew, cursed behind their backs because you couldn't do what you wanted. It all comes together when you get older. It's not so much of who you are at the time but its' more of who you want to be. At this age, we want to be "just like ____" I mean, put any name in that blank and you're bound to try to be like whoever it is you're jealous of or admire.
Silly isn't it? You shouldn't want to be like anyone else, you shouldn't compare yourself to others because of how popular they are or how much knowledge they have. You should want to be proud of being who you are and accepting that you're no different than any other person regardless of how rich they might be. "It doesn't matter how rich or pretty you are, but if your attitude isn't [there] then it doesn't make you a pleasant person to be around." You could have all the looks but the way you talk and associate with people makes you an entirely different person to someone. It's all in the way you carry yourself. We live life to understand how to change ourselves to HELP others, to RESPECT others, to HAVE a good reputation, not just so that you can be known for but because it's something you BELIEVE in your heart. Don't do something in the public to be admired for but do it because you mean it, do it because of the goodness within you. It doesn't have to be where the eyes can see, but don't get yourself wrong. Don't boast about the good deeds you do, though we tend to do that. Only God will know you're judgement. When you think you know it all, think again. Our Father in Heaven is all-knowing. He knows every step before you make it, He has laid down your path and every decision you make leads you to the outcome of your life. With growth comes knowledge and wisdom. Now learn to (APPLY) that wisdom to your life. Not the kind of wicked wisdom but Godly wisdom. Have a blessed day.
